Sundial Field Terms of Use and End User License Agreement
Effective date: September 24, 2026
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of Sundial Field, a private business application operated by Sundial Solar Services, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Sundial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Sundial Field, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the application.
1. Intended users
Sundial Field is a private internal business application. It may be used only by Sundial personnel and other individuals whom Sundial has expressly authorized. You may not provide access to another person, share an authenticated session, or attempt to bypass the application’s access controls.
2. Application purpose
Sundial Field assists with business operations such as:
- customer intake and contact records;
- service and estimate scheduling;
- appointment and task management;
- links to mapping, telephone, email, and calendar services; and
- authorized QuickBooks Online workflows, including customer matching and the preparation of draft estimates or invoices.
Sundial Field is an operational tool. It does not provide legal, accounting, tax, financial, engineering, or other professional advice.
3. Limited license
Subject to these Terms, Sundial grants each authorized user a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Sundial Field solely for legitimate Sundial business purposes. No ownership interest in the application, its software, or its content is transferred to a user.
4. User responsibilities
Authorized users must:
- provide and maintain accurate information;
- review customer, job, scheduling, estimate, and invoice information before relying on or sending it;
- protect their account and device from unauthorized access;
- promptly report suspected unauthorized access, data loss, or security issues; and
- comply with applicable laws, company policies, and third-party service terms.
Scheduling information and arrival windows are operational estimates and may change because of field conditions, emergencies, weather, traffic, job duration, staffing, or customer availability.
5. QuickBooks Online connection
An authorized QuickBooks Online company administrator may connect Sundial Field to a QuickBooks Online company through Intuit’s authorization process. By connecting QuickBooks Online, the administrator authorizes Sundial Field to access and process the QuickBooks data reasonably necessary to provide the selected workflows.
Sundial Field may read or write authorized accounting data, including customer, estimate, and invoice information. The application is not designed to delete QuickBooks data. Drafts and suggested entries must be reviewed for accuracy before they are approved, sent, or otherwise relied upon.
Users may disconnect QuickBooks Online from Sundial Field. Disconnecting ends future API access but does not automatically remove lawful business records that Sundial must retain for operational, contractual, accounting, or legal purposes.
QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Sundial Field is an independent Sundial application and is not sponsored or endorsed by Intuit. Use of QuickBooks Online remains subject to Intuit’s separate terms and privacy policies.
6. Data and privacy
Sundial Field processes customer, scheduling, service, and QuickBooks information only for legitimate Sundial business purposes and for the benefit of the connected Sundial business account. Intuit customer data is not sold or made available to unrelated third parties for their independent use.
Additional information about Sundial’s privacy practices is available in the Sundial Solar Services Privacy Policy. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information, the Privacy Policy controls for that issue.
7. Security
Sundial uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect application data, including access controls and encrypted storage of QuickBooks authorization credentials. No system is completely secure, and Sundial cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, interruption, or data loss will never occur.
Users must not store passwords, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information in free-text notes.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Sundial Field for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes;
- access information that you are not authorized to view;
- copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the application;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with the application’s security or operation;
- use automated methods to scrape, overload, or probe the application; or
- use customer or QuickBooks information for any purpose unrelated to authorized Sundial business.
9. Third-party services
Sundial Field may interoperate with or link to third-party services such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Apple Maps, telephone, and email applications. Third-party services are controlled by their respective providers and are governed by separate terms and privacy policies. Sundial is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or operation of a third-party service.
10. Ownership and feedback
Sundial Field, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Sundial Solar Services, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. If a user voluntarily provides suggestions or feedback, Sundial may use that feedback to improve its operations and the application without compensation or obligation.
11. Availability and changes
Sundial may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of Sundial Field at any time. We may also update these Terms. Material revisions will be identified by a revised effective date or communicated through a reasonable business channel. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNDIAL FIELD IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” SUNDIAL DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SUNDIAL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY BUSINESS PURPOSE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNDIAL AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO SUNDIAL FIELD.
SUNDIAL’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APPLICATION WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT THE CLAIMANT PAID SPECIFICALLY FOR USE OF SUNDIAL FIELD DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Suspension and termination
Sundial may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms, creates a security risk, is no longer authorized by Sundial, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to protect Sundial, its customers, or third-party services. Upon termination, the user must stop using the application. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
15. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceeding arising from these Terms or Sundial Field must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Volusia County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. General terms
These Terms and the incorporated Privacy Policy constitute the agreement governing use of Sundial Field. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Sundial’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. A user may not assign rights under these Terms without Sundial’s written permission.
