Sundial Solar Services, LLC (Sundial, we or us) operates GoSundial.com. This notice explains how information is collected and used when you visit our website, request a quote or contact us about a solar project or service.
Information you provide
Depending on your inquiry, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, property or project address, requested service and the details you choose to send. Repair requests may include the original installer, equipment, ownership and monitoring access. Removal and reinstallation requests may include panel count, roof timing and roofing contractor details. Contractor inquiries may include company information, service area, project status and an expected roof date.
We record the consent selections included in the form. If you reply to an email, we receive your message and any attachments. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or identification documents that are unnecessary for your inquiry.
Property addresses and Google suggestions
Our quote and removal/reinstallation forms offer Google-powered address suggestions and manual entry. When you use suggestions, Google processes the address text. A selected result can include the formatted address, street, city, county, state, postal code, country, Google Place ID and the property’s latitude and longitude. The form also records whether you selected a suggestion or entered the address manually.
We use property information to identify the project location, assess service coverage and evaluate and respond to your request. The coordinates describe the selected property. You can enter the address manually or call us to discuss your needs.
How we use inquiry information
We use submitted information to review quote and service requests, understand project needs, respond to you and coordinate appropriate next steps. Website forms send inquiry emails to Sundial. The main quote and paid removal/reinstallation forms also send an acknowledgment to the email address provided.
Service providers do process information to support the website, email delivery, security, address suggestions and measurement, as explained below.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 and Sundial’s lead measurement tools to understand website visits and actions such as successful form submissions, phone-link clicks and quote-link clicks. Event information can include the page or link used, form identifier and type of inquiry. Sundial’s custom lead event records these details rather than the name, email, phone number or address entered into the form.
Forms can capture source and campaign information from incoming links, including UTM parameters and Google advertising click identifiers. This helps us understand how inquiries reached us. Google Ads uses the configured Analytics conversion event to measure successful paid removal/reinstallation requests. A phone-link click records a website action; it does not establish that a call connected.
Providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, requested resources and page activity when their services load. Page URLs and referral information can be included in measurement, so please avoid putting personal details in website links. Learn about Google’s use of information from partner sites and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies and browser storage
The website and its providers use cookies and browser storage for analytics, advertising attribution, security, sessions and website functions. These include Google Analytics cookies, Google attribution storage, GoDaddy traffic/session cookies and Cloudflare security cookies. Sundial uses temporary session storage to carry quote-click information to the next page. WordPress also uses storage for site functions.
You can manage or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Restricting cookies, scripts or storage may affect address suggestions, security checks or other features. Browser controls do not delete information already submitted to Sundial. Google provides Analytics browser opt-out information and advertising controls.
Providers that support the website
Our website uses WordPress and Contact Form 7. GoDaddy provides hosting-related services and website performance/traffic tools. WP Mail SMTP routes website emails through Brevo, which processes recipient and message information to deliver them. Google provides Analytics, advertising measurement, address lookup and font/library resources. Content-delivery providers also supply website assets.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks form visitors for automated abuse and processes technical signals for that purpose. Hosting and security systems may also process request and security logs. See the Turnstile Privacy Notice, Brevo Privacy Policy and GoDaddy Privacy Policy for these providers’ practices.
Records and security
Submitted inquiries become email records and may remain in mail systems, provider logs or backups. Deleting cookies or closing the browser does not remove those records. Contact us to ask about the information associated with your inquiry and its retention or deletion. Retention in a provider’s systems is also subject to that provider’s settings and practices; we cannot promise immediate deletion from every backup or third-party system.
No website, email service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us if you believe information you sent us needs correction or may have been exposed.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose what optional details to provide, use manual address entry, manage browser storage or contact us by phone or email. Required form fields help us respond; if you prefer not to provide them online, contact us to discuss an alternative.
Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of information associated with you, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your request and explain any limits, including records needed for ongoing services or applicable obligations. Your legal rights depend on the law that applies to your circumstances. If you receive marketing from Sundial, you can ask us to stop; this does not prevent communications needed for a request or service you have asked us to provide.
Children’s privacy
Our services and inquiry forms are intended for adults arranging property-related work. Please do not submit information about children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, contact us so we can review and address it.
