SunPower System Service & Enphase Monitoring Upgrades
If your SunPower system has stopped producing, monitoring is offline, or legacy equipment needs attention, Sundial can evaluate the installation and develop an appropriate Enphase monitoring or equipment-upgrade path.
Sundial works with Enphase on available programs for qualifying legacy SunPower systems—including monitoring transitions, SolarBridge conversions and repowering options for older inverter architectures.

SunPower systems do not all use the same hardware.
SunPower systems were installed across multiple product generations and may include different inverters, microinverters, gateways, communication devices, modules and proprietary monitoring components. That means there is no universal repair or monitoring conversion.
Sundial reviews the system architecture, condition, documentation and current support options before recommending work. The goal is a technically sound next step—not an automatic whole-system replacement.
Actual SunPower AC-module equipment identified during system service.
Equipment identification determines the right service path.
This SunPower SPR-X22 AC-module label is an example of the information Sundial uses to identify module and microinverter characteristics. Photos of labels, inverter model numbers, monitoring screens and original system documents can help narrow the possibilities before onsite work.
Customers do not need to diagnose the system themselves. Sharing whatever information is available simply helps Sundial begin with better context.
Common SunPower Service Requests
SunPower Monitoring Not Working
Diagnose lost reporting, gateway or communication issues, account-access limitations and equipment faults that may appear as a monitoring problem.
Low or No Solar Production
Evaluate warnings, failed components, electrical conditions and system performance before defining the repair scope.
Failed or Unsupported Components
Identify available replacement, modernization or compatible equipment options when the original service channel is unavailable.
How Sundial Approaches a SunPower System
Identify the Equipment
We review available system information, model numbers, monitoring status and the components installed at the property.
Diagnose the Actual Problem
A monitoring outage can be separate from a production problem. Testing helps distinguish communications, account, inverter and electrical issues.
Explain the Available Paths
Sundial outlines practical repair, monitoring or equipment-update options based on compatibility, condition, parts availability and customer preference.
Enphase monitoring for SunPower systems with IQ-series microinverters
Many later-generation SunPower AC-module systems use Enphase IQ-series microinverters with SunPower-branded communications equipment. When compatible, an IQ Gateway and current transformers can move system monitoring to the Enphase App. Panel-level monitoring may be available when the microinverters and array-map information support it.
The exact microinverter model—such as IQ7X, IQ7XS, IQ7HS or a SunPower-branded equivalent—must be verified. Monitoring access, warranty handling and equipment eligibility remain subject to the applicable manufacturer or platform.
Selected equipment may be updated without automatically replacing the solar modules.
Sundial can compare repair and repowering options around the existing modules, electrical design, equipment condition and the customer’s priorities.
SunPower Repair and Repowering Options
Monitoring Migration
For compatible SunPower systems already using Enphase IQ-series microinverters, add the appropriate gateway and metering equipment, complete required programming, and transition monitoring to the Enphase platform.
Microinverter Conversion
Legacy SolarBridge microinverters are not covered by the Enphase warranty. Depending on the system and current program availability, Sundial can evaluate conversion to compatible Enphase IQ microinverters and new monitoring.
Inverter Repowering or Module-Level Conversion
Older SMA-style and other string-inverter systems may be candidates for a compatible replacement string inverter or conversion to module-level electronics. Module characteristics, string design, code requirements and customer preference guide the recommendation.
Modernize the system with equipment that can be supported going forward.
When an Enphase conversion is the right technical path, Sundial installs compatible Enphase equipment, coordinates the required commissioning process and helps transition the system to the Enphase monitoring platform.
This gives qualifying owners a defined manufacturer ecosystem for monitoring, technical support and future equipment options. Available features, warranty coverage and program eligibility depend on the specific products installed and Enphase’s current terms.
Ask about current options for qualifying SunPower systems.
Selected monitoring-restoration, SolarBridge conversion and equipment-repowering projects may qualify for promotional equipment pricing. Eligibility, program availability and scope depend on the installed system, required components, condition and location. Sundial evaluates the system before quoting a specific solution.
SunPower System Service Across Central Florida
Based in Ormond Beach and primarily serving the greater Daytona Beach area, Sundial works across a broader Central Florida and East Coast region extending from St. Augustine south to Titusville and west to Orlando. Service availability depends on the system, work required and project location.

SunPower System Service FAQs
Can Sundial repair a SunPower solar system?
Sundial can evaluate many SunPower systems and determine what service is practical. Available repairs depend on the installed equipment, system condition, parts, documentation and current manufacturer or platform support.
Can you restore SunPower monitoring?
Often there is a service path, but the answer depends on the system generation and installed equipment. Sundial can determine whether original monitoring can be restored, whether an Enphase monitoring path is appropriate, or whether an equipment upgrade is more practical.
Which SunPower systems can use Enphase monitoring?
Enphase offers monitoring options for legacy SunPower systems, including systems with Enphase microinverters and total-production monitoring for certain other inverter types. Panel-level detail requires compatible Enphase microinverters and the necessary array information. Sundial verifies the equipment and explains the monitoring level available before work begins.
What can be done with failed SolarBridge microinverters?
Sundial can evaluate the array for conversion from legacy SolarBridge equipment to compatible current microinverters and monitoring. The scope can involve multiple module-level devices rather than only the failed unit, depending on compatibility and the selected technical path.
Can an older SMA-style SunPower inverter be replaced?
Potentially. Sundial can evaluate a replacement string-inverter approach or conversion to module-level equipment. The existing modules, DC string design, voltage, rapid-shutdown requirements, electrical equipment, roof access and customer goals determine which path is appropriate.
Do all the SunPower panels need to be replaced?
Not necessarily. Some projects can retain usable modules while selected components are repaired or updated. Equipment condition, compatibility, availability and the owner’s goals determine the appropriate scope.
Can I add battery backup to an existing SunPower system?
Potentially. Compatibility depends on the existing solar architecture, electrical configuration, storage goals, backed-up loads and selected battery equipment. Sundial can evaluate partial-home or whole-home backup options.
Does Sundial take over the original warranty?
No. Sundial does not assume another company’s workmanship warranty, contract, financing agreement or obligations. We may assist with qualifying manufacturer-related diagnostics or coordination where applicable, but approval remains with the responsible company.
